Sweet Forbidden
Hooray! Hooray! A scrap!

First, a scrap. Our friends, Nimfa and Orly, visited us one weekend. With them and their kids were my good, good friends from California who are now working in Thurmont, Brenda and Santi. Brenda drove down with her lovely daughter and funny MIL, while Santi was with his wife, Avi, and their 3 kids. Part of the plan for the weekend was to go to Washington, DC to give Santi’s family a tour of the city. I had been looking forward to seeing them since hubbie and I haven’t seem Nimfa and Orly for awhile plus, he hasn’t met my California friends yet. It was a weekend full of laughter, food, and more laughter. It was truly a welcome event to be with my friends - really made me feel warm inside.

So while in DC, I had a chance to take some pictures. One of them is a picture of Nimfa’s daughter, Therese. I love this little girl! She was the source of my amusement and entertainment during my short work stint at Thurmont and I was living with Orly and Nimfa. She was very curious, always asking about stuff and she had a very keen interest in my make-up and accessories. She made me feel a little less lonely because Ed and I could only see each other during the weekends. So when I went back to Baltimore because I found another work in Annapolis, I really felt a twinge of sadness because I was going to miss this little girl so much. So when I saw her that weekend, I was sooooooooo happy
